Audio, Visual Products
Our comprehensive range of portable and
fixed-installation LCD projectors for use in business presentation and
home cinema applications
Experience true cinema-sized thrills in the
comfort of your own home with our home entertainment screens
Portable
The benefit of purchasing a portable desktop
projector is maximum brightness for the larger audience. With a weight
of around 6kg these projectors are ideal for classrooms, training rooms
or seminars. Some of these projectors are also ideal for home cinema
with the use of interchangeable lenses
Micro Portable
Micro
portable projectors make up one of the fastest growing sectors of the
marketplace due to the growing demand for compact, affordable and
portable projection systems. They're tiny too; small enough to hold in
the palm of your hand, and incredibly lightweight - typically weighing
only 2.5kg, micro portable projectors are ideal for people doing
presentations on the move, whether travelling by road, rail or air.
Ultra Portable
Our lightweight ultra-portable projectors
make it easy to make your presentation count - wherever you deliver it
Conference
At the high end of the marketplace these
powerhouses are heavier, weighing in at 15kg or higher. However an
incredible 20,000 ANSI lumens can be achieved with multiple inputs,
interchangeable lenses and high resolutions. The applications are
endless from large venues such as auditoriums, lecture theatres, seminar
and conference rooms to boardrooms, simulators and control rooms
Aspect Ratio
(16:9 and 4:3)
Aspect
ratio 16:9 - standard for HDTV and most DVD video formats, better known as
Widescreen Aspect.
Aspect ratio 4:3 - seen on most videos and TV. It is standard for computer
monitors and older televisions. Films in this format miss out about half
of the actual picture and i n some cases even more.
Boosters
Any
Computer or Video input will generate a signal between 3 and 5 Metres
cable length to one peripheral (Projector/Plasma/TFT/CRT) anything above
that length will require a booster to provide the necessary signal. By
using the options listed this will allow you to perform several functions.
1) Use several computer or video inputs which can then be amplified and
output to one peripheral (Projector/Plasma/TFT/CRT)
2) In reverse 1 input can be split and the signal amplified to several
outputs (Projector/Plasma/TFT/CRT)
Brightness
The
brightness provided by a projector is measured in ANSI lumens. Until
recently, most projectors had a fairly low ANSI rating, necessitating
blinds to be drawn and lights to be dimmed to achieve a bright projected
image. Now even microportable mach ines of 700 ANSI Lumens provide
successful projection, even in well lit rooms.
Resolution
Resolution
simply refers to the clarity and sharpness of the picture - measured as
the individual dots or blocks of colour that make up the image. The higher
the number, the truer the projected images to real life. In the past the
resolution of data projectors has lagged behind that of computer displays.
Now almost half the projectors match the resolution of notebooks and are
high resolution XGA machines. Checklist of resolution formats:
SVGA (800 x 600 dots) XGA (1024 x 768 dots) SXGA (1280 x 1024 dots)
Viewing Angle
A wide
viewing angle of 160 degrees ensures that the message displayed reaches
the audience with maximum impact the viewer doesn't have to be standing
directly in front of the screen to see clearly.
Interactive
Products
From classroom to boardroom, on-screen to
on-line, technological advance is revolutionising the way information is
delivered to an audience. Increasingly simple to set up and operate, but
outstandingly dynamic and flexible, the products available now enable
presenters to interact directly with on-screen information.
Utilising a Windows Touch Screen, you can incorporate information accessed
via networks and the internet, adding notes, comments and ideas as you
progress.
Interactive touch screens can be used in many environments including:
• education - the perfect teaching tool
• events - catching people’s attention
• training rooms - encouraging participation
• exhibitions - instant impact
• boardroom media walls - powerful communication tool
• interactive kiosks - providing information at a touch
• TV studio sets - bringing data alive
• process control - factory floor or system management
• brainstorming - managing and controlling flow of ideas
• video conferencing - organising international meetings easily
• data conferencing over the internet - exchanging information from around
the world in real time

Digital Imaging
The Future of digital imaging is now…..
Digital imaging is fast, flexible and now
essential to home and businesses alike. The benefits of being able to
store pictures, delete the ones you don’t want and download the ones you
do, means digital imaging products are gathering momentum, as part of
the computer set up both in the home and office. We can offer our
clients a complete digital photo production chain, which is based on
sound technological principles and quality measures: cameras, printers,
scanners, PC’s and storage products which are in tune with each other,
so that you can use a completely integrated system of products. The
darkroom of the future is invented. You don’t have to worry anymore
about the right lens, speed of film or the choice of the right photo
paper. Many of the functions that used to be performed in the darkroom
or on the PC are now integrated into the camera.
Input
Business users are enjoying the benefits of
the enhanced value now on offer from digital cameras much the same as
home users. As the sales of digital cameras continue apace, the quality
and value of scanners has and is still advancing. As the digital camera
drives the sales of scanners in the home, it is the Internet, which is
driving the usage in business. Which in turn is driving the market for
ever more high quality, low cost, colour output.
Output
Whether the images are stored on CD or ZIP
the means of outputting them is as varied as the methods of input.
Printers which are now allowing the printing of megapixel images without
the need for a PC are with us now. Digital imaging is entering a new
phase of growth, both in the home and office, as the Internet drives the
use of more colour and company intranets demand a “distribute and print”
approach to communication rather than multiple printing and distribution
of documents.
Digital imaging will become not exceptional, but an expected part of
the functionality that systems will deliver – the home and in the
office.
